Términos y Condiciones

Welcome to Kenia Private Chef. By booking our private chef services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Reservations and Payments

Reservations are confirmed with a deposit payment made at least one week prior to your services. Full payment must be made on your first service.

Our services require a minimum of four (4) guests. Services can be provided for fewer guests; however, the total cost will remain equivalent to the rate for four guests.

Additional travel fees by location:

Jacó: $10
Herradura and Playa Hermosa: $20
Faro Escondido, Punta Leona, Esterillos, and Tárcoles: $40–$60 (depending on exact location)

Gratuity is not included in the total service cost. We do not enforce a required percentage, as we believe this should be left to the discretion of each client based on their experience.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

For cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance: Full refund
Cancellations between 72 and 24 hours: 50% refund
Cancellations within 24 hours: No refund available

3. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for notifying us of any guest allergies or dietary restrictions at least 48 hours prior to the event. Kenia Private Chef is not liable for any allergic reactions that were not previously disclosed.

Delay Charges:

Up to one (1) hour delay: $80
Each additional hour: $80 per hour

4. Intellectual Property

All content, recipes, and preparation methods are the property of Chef Kenia and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express authorization.

5. Service Modifications

Chef Kenia reserves the right to modify the menu or services in the event of ingredient shortages or for reasons of force majeure. Clients will be notified of any significant changes in advance.
